0xProgramming OÜ — an Estonian systems engineering company
Registered in Rakvere, Estonia in December 2022. We build and repair the server side of software products for business clients across the European Union and beyond.
0xProgramming OÜ is a small, senior engineering practice. We work on backend systems, APIs, data layers and the infrastructure underneath them — the parts of a product that users never see and that decide whether it stays up.
Most of our work arrives in one of two shapes. Either a company has built something that succeeded and is now hitting a ceiling it was never designed for, or it needs a system built properly the first time because the cost of getting it wrong is measured in contracts rather than in sprints. Both need the same thing: someone who has operated systems at that size and will say plainly what will and will not work.
We do not resell licences, we do not take commission on infrastructure spend, and we do not staff projects with people more junior than the ones you met in the sales call. The engineer who scopes your work is the engineer who does it.

How we work with clients
Every engagement runs under a written service agreement governed by Estonian law. We sign mutual NDAs before technical detail is exchanged, and a Data Processing Agreement before we touch any system holding personal data. Invoices are issued in EUR from Estonia, with EU VAT reverse charge applied where the client is VAT-registered in another member state.
We work with businesses only. We do not provide services to consumers, and we do not take on work involving unlicensed regulated activity, systems designed to evade sanctions or platform rules, or anything that would put us on the wrong side of EU law.

What kind of clients do you work with?
0xProgramming OÜ works with businesses only (B2B): product companies, agencies subcontracting engineering work, and in-house technology teams that need senior backend or platform capacity. We do not take consumer work and we do not sell licences or subscriptions — every engagement is a written service agreement for named work.
How do you price an engagement?
Either a fixed price for a defined scope, or a monthly retainer measured in engineering days. Our indicative day rate is €780. The architecture estimator on this site gives a planning range from your load and data figures; a binding written proposal follows the first technical consultation, which is free.
Is the estimator on this site a quote?
No. It is a deterministic first-pass sizing model that turns peak requests per second, data volume, read/write mix and availability target into a topology, an indicative infrastructure cost and an engagement band. It uses public list prices and our own delivery history. It is planning input for the first conversation, not an offer.
Do you work with existing systems or only new builds?
Both, and most of our work is on systems that already carry production traffic. Audits, performance rescue and incremental migration of legacy platforms are a core part of what we do. We do not require a rewrite as a precondition — in most cases we advise against one.

How do you handle our data and our clients’ data?
For website enquiries we are the data controller and process only what the form collects, under GDPR. When engaged on your systems we act as a data processor under a signed Data Processing Agreement, with EU data residency, least-privilege access, and access removal on completion. We do not sell or share data with advertising networks.
Can you sign an NDA before we share details?
Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before any technical detail, code or infrastructure access is exchanged. Send it with your first message, or ask us for ours.
What happens after the project ends?
You keep the repositories, the infrastructure state and the documentation, all in your own accounts. We offer an optional support retainer, but nothing in the delivery is designed to require it — handover includes a working session with your team and runbooks written for someone who was not there.
